Grandma’s - Just Like Home now run a total of three café’s – Grandma's at the Farm near Collector, Grandma's Little Bakery in Alexandria and the recently opened Grandma's at Rosebery, which is where we decided to visit for breakfast (of course). The menu is inspired by Israeli cuisine, boasting a selection of shakshouka’s (baked eggs), homemade dips, breads, pastries and much more.
Upon arrival, we are immediately impressed when handed the tech-savvy menu, which arrives in the form of an iPad! Needless to say we had a bit of fun browsing through the options…
We couldn’t go past ordering the shakshouka’s, being a clear specialty of the place. We ordered two different variety’s, along with a serving of hummus with a freshly baked bagel and the ricotta pancakes.
And that was our breakfast at Grandma’s. We left feeling more than satisfied, relaxed and buzzing our wholesome, delicious meal. A fantastic foodie experience and there is no doubt I will be back for more! And just quietly, I suggest you do the same.
